As part of Ghana’s national “One District, One Factory” initiative, a single client retained us to develop three separate factory business plans for submission to the Ministry of Trade. Each plan addressed production, processing, supply chain and financing pathways appropriate to the district-level model.
All three plans passed the government vetting stage and were selected among the cohort advanced to the financing phase — validating the plans’ technical soundness and bankability.
Prepared a debt-structured business plan and integrated financial model for a greenfield bottled water operation with in-house PET bottle production. The plan focused on capital procurement (machinery importation), operating setup, and a debt amortization profile aligned to projected cash flows.
Provided a lender-ready package that clarified capex phasing and repayment capacity, helping position the client for engagement with equipment vendors and financiers.
Conducted a feasibility study for a banana processing plant in Ghana supplying banana flour to European markets. The client sought objective analysis of raw material availability, export logistics, and margin dynamics for organic specialty flour.

After successfully completing business planning for their clay brick manufacturing venture in Ghana, the client re-engaged us to develop the business plan and launch model for their new restaurant concept in the United States.Bistro SOJO is a Mediterranean / African-inspired restaurant based in Winchester, USA. We developed the market positioning, operational model, staffing plan, and financial projections guiding the rollout.

We began by analyzing the client’s current business in Ghana — including growth trends, challenges, competition, and customer base. Subsequently, we conducted research on the selected countries to inform the market entry strategy and recommend a phased implementation approach.
Top Leader Ghana Ltd., a Ghanaian company with existing operations in construction and manufacturing, engaged us to develop a market entry plan to support its bid to become the exclusive distributor of a foreign lubricants producer in Ghana.
The plan was prepared to guide the company’s entry strategy, regulatory compliance, and operational setup in alignment with the brand’s global distribution standards.
Our engagement covered a detailed assessment of Ghana’s lubricant market, including demand dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment. We also designed a phased market expansion roadmap with strategic recommendations to position the company’s lubricants among the top five brands in the country.

SMAid International — NTDs Project & Social Enterprise Sustainability
We were engaged to design a €120,000 project plan and funding proposal for an NTDs (neglected tropical diseases) intervention submitted to ANESVAD. Following the successful award, SMAid retained us to support financial sustainability and visibility initiatives.Our approach introduced a social enterprise model as a path to self-sufficiency. The first of these, SMAid Academy — a language school and skills training institution — was conceptualized, planned, and launched in 2025 with our guidance.
